Shadows

Places we tend to avoid, look past or simply pretend do not exist. Sending them in different directions as we walk throughout our day. Paying little attention, if any to what they are telling us, showing us or how they are being cast upon this world.

These places are gifts we are given daily, to look deeper into who we are and why we are here. The darkness within the shadow is where we learn, grow and healing begins. Our own fear that we have built around darkness keeps us from looking within this space. The shadows come from us, no matter how we might try to avoid them they are always with us as a part of our entire being.

Each shadow casting its own energy upon the world with ease, fierceness, transparency, intention, and hidden purposes. We came into this body with a shadow being cast in one way or another. Our shadows are proof we are human, here on this earth to learn, ascend and expand.

We all have those darker places within us, those moments, events, people, fears or insecurities. If we could simply step into the shadow, to our left, right, front or back, we would begin to see the darkness is beautiful in its own way. The light is always there, what we have become accustomed to and known as safe.

Play with the vulnerability of stepping into the darkness, with an intention filled with love, openness and willingness to heal the emotions within. As we heal our inner being we heal our own universe. When we heal ourselves we evolve the world around us, as this is our responsibility… To heal our selves.

Good Morning Torri. When I get your new posts I do not get the photos that go with them unless I go to your website Do you know what that is, or is it just set up that way? I loved this by the way. I like how you described darkness left, right, front back. Made me see it as a dance. A beautiful dance in darkness. Thank you my dear friend. Nice hearing your voice yesterday. Much love

Marion, thank you for your kind words. Also, the pictures only show up on the blog itself, they are not emailed each week. I can see if there is a way to change that. 😉
