Sometimes we learn a lot about ourselves when we observe other people. Even if we never speak the things that enter into our heads, these are thoughts, in one way, reflective of who we are. For this reason, we should pay attention, be mindful and care for others as if they were ourselves.
Allow yourself a moment to simply observe; if you find judgement or negative thoughts emerging, honor them, as they are offering an opportunity to shift. Pay attention to your interactions (body language, tone, thoughts and physical responses) with people around you. These patterns will continue to offer deeper reflection into who you are.
Self-reflection goes beyond our immediate relationships and looking in the mirror. And as we become brave enough to see how we show up in this world with our thoughts and reactions, we begin to heal our communities with an expansion of self-love. We are one, after all!
Walk with intention. Speak with love. Live with compassion as your armor.
