Upon reaching the shorelines we see the frothy effects of our ignorance and selfishness. The impact of never taking ownership, rather deflection and projection fly from the tongue with such ease our world has become numb to the truth. A truth we feel so distantly connected to, yet a frayed cord reminds us if only we can just stop and feel. A denial perpetuating a cycle of hate and war continues to wage on.
Our hearts have become overshadowed with doubts, fears, and false realities. We argue our perspective, not from the heart, but from the ego/mind. Our world will never see or heal until we begin to think with our hearts and feel with our brain. One cannot begin to acknowledge their own wrong-doing until they connect within their own heart.
No, in fact, the love that exists is infinite, yet we must actively work to connect this love in all aspects of life and love. Working requires ownership and vulnerability, something we are not encouraged today, to engage in, rather avoid.
When we deny ourselves, we deny the world. When we shove our face down as if it does not impact me, we deny ourselves yet again. We cannot walk in this world without acknowledging our responsibilities, no matter how big or small. That mirror we have been avoiding is calling our name, begging for a moment of reflection and connection.
