Who I am is where I have come from and what I have experienced. Who I am has been defined by how I reacted, responded, and ultimately reflected upon each of those aspects throughout my life. Who I am is never defined by one or even a series of events, rather what I take from those and what I choose to do moving forward with said incidents.
Writing about my experiences with sexual abuse, assault and misconduct is merely one aspect of a much greater part of who I am. The importance, however of this subject, in particular, is far greater than I realized before I started writing, reflecting and ultimately sharing. This aspect of my life has unfortunately defined certain areas within me, I was not aware of until these last few days.
I share this process in a space of absolute vulnerability, yet incredible strength and confidence. I am a woman of incredible integrity, love, compassion and immeasurable strength. For this reason, I have chosen to peel back these layers of humiliating, dehumanizing, power play events that have plagued our world for far too long. This is not my journey alone, rather humanities journey to bring light, love, compassion and a space for healing.
My stories will continue. My healing will carry on. My courage will build and with this I hope others will find inspiration and strength to find their personal power within this time of unveiling our ultimate truth. I send incredible love into the world today, as we embrace purity.
